01. Booking Confirmations & Fleet Allocation

• Advance Booking: Bookings can be initiated online or through our 24/7 helpline. A booking is confirmed once an official confirmation SMS, WhatsApp message, or email with a booking reference is issued.
• Vehicle Allocation: We guarantee vehicle categories (e.g., Sedan, Premium SUV, Innova Crysta, Tempo Traveller). Specific vehicle models will be provided or an upgraded model from the same or higher segment.
• Driver Information: Assigned driver contact details, vehicle registration number, and pickup alerts will be shared with the passenger at least 1 to 2 hours prior to scheduled departure.

02. Fare Calculation, Distance & Billing Rules

• Garage to Garage Distance: For outstation and designated hourly rentals across the car rental industry in India, the odometer distance and trip time are calculated on a standard Garage-to-Garage basis (from the dispatch hub back to the garage).
• Tolls, Taxes & Parking: Unless an all-inclusive fixed package has been explicitly booked, state border entry permits, toll taxes, MCD/entry municipal taxes, and airport/mall parking fees are payable as per actual receipts.
• Driver Allowance / Batta: For outstation trips, driver allowances cover lodging and meals. Night driving allowances apply if the vehicle is driven between 10:00 PM and 06:00 AM.
• Special High-Altitude Routes: Standard published fares apply across North & Central India. Specialized mountainous or restricted routes (such as Leh-Ladakh, Spiti Valley, and Char Dham Yatra) carry dedicated terrain-specific pricing and permit policies.

03. Airport Pickups & Waiting Time

For airport pickups, our dispatch team actively tracks your flight number in real-time. We provide a complimentary waiting buffer of 45 minutes from the actual flight landing time to accommodate baggage claim. Beyond the buffer, standard waiting charges may apply.

04. Passenger Guidelines & Vehicle Safety

• Substance Prohibition: Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or carrying illegal substances inside any Dev Tour and Travels vehicle is strictly prohibited by law.
• Luggage Capacity: Luggage must adhere to the permissible capacity of the chosen vehicle segment without obstructing passenger legroom or driving visibility.
• Route Decisions & Safety: In adverse conditions (heavy fog, landslides, waterlogging), the driver reserves the right to choose the safest motorable route in consultation with our 24/7 central dispatch.

05. Modifications, Delays & Force Majeure

While Dev Tour and Travels maintains a 99.8% on-time dispatch record, we shall not be held liable for unavoidable journey delays caused by extreme traffic jams, road closures, severe weather, natural disasters, protests, or unforeseen technical breakdowns. In the rare event of a mechanical fault, our central dispatch will arrange a prompt replacement vehicle at no extra charge.

06. Limitation of Liability & Jurisdiction

The maximum financial liability of Dev Tour and Travels arising under any circumstances shall be strictly limited to the refund of the booking amount received for the relevant trip. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
